13th August !!!

Last Monday is 13th August !!! It is here again!!! lolx... By right dear asked me to take leave on that day and I also wanted but because of the limitation of my leave due to some reasons, I cannot afford to apply anymore. However, I am still very happy this year as I have 2 small rounds of celebration starting from lunch to dinner time. hee !! For lunch, my beloved colleagues Susan, Lavanya, Yi Yuan & Yi Luan treated me to Lerk Thai restaurant at Novena Square 2. Shufen forgot my birthday and went to clear her leave for this whole week. As her leave was always very difficult to claim plus if she still do not do so, all her last year leaves will be forfeited. Okay la... understood and at least she has wished me but still kind of bad loh... =p you own me one meal huh!! hahaha.... jK... We ordered a set lunch of 5 dishes, 1 soup, steam rices and get free deserts from a discount card given by IRAS. Yummy yummy.... The food were a little bit spicy but the taste was great. All of us enjoyed the feast and took some photographs together. The next birthday babe will be.... Lavanya! I am looking forward to celebrate with her and the rest. ^^ So far, we have celebrated for shufen,susan, yi xuan and me. hee... yi luan will be on next year le..Looked ! I so good rite? Can remember all of you's birthday. heee.... ^v^

After work, I proceed to my next celebration with my best buddies Miko, Judy, Shu Qin, De Qiang and dear at Cineleisure k box for a k buffet. This is my second time going to the buffet. I felt very excited. Miko and I reached first. While waiting for the rest, we played some of our favourite songs to listen and start eating a bit. Very soon, shu qin, judy, dear and de qiang were there in sequence. hehe... All of us having fun with singing, chating and eating. Yummy yummy.... The k box service is not bad. When dear arrival with my cake, they initialed to keep it in the refrigerator. They even lighted up all the candles and bring it to our ktv room for my cut cake session. We were quite surprised. We still thought that we will need to unwrap the cake all these by ourselves. It looks beautiful for the moment the waiter sent the cake in as KIV is always a bit dark. The candle lights brighten up the place a bit and created warm feeling atmosphere. I quickly took a few shots in case the candles melt too much. Then dear found something weird. He asked me how come there are 2 big candles and 8 small one. faint*** I am not 28 !!! I am still younger than that !! =p lolx... Dear had no idea of it even though he is the one who bought the cake. Most properly is the cake shop give us extra candles and the K box just used up all these candles to my cake."-_-
So funny loh... We laughed until almost fell. haha.... I have not much to comment about it because I have already fainted loh!! oops... hahahah.... No wonder I find the candle lights quite bright. Now I know how bright is it when I celebrate my 28th brithday. "-_- lolx.... The following are the pictures we took that day. ^v^

For those who do not remember 13th August...I cannot only say You guys bai jiao le la!! so bo xin de!! I do not want to see you all again!! Get lost and go fan xin fan xin hor!!! =p lolx... jus kidding.... As I know all my true friends remember and some aiya aiya... you know who you are loh!!! =p lolx...

Harry Potter

Many years ago, I wanted to read this book "Harry Potter" !! Looked... I'm such a book lover!! hohoho.... =p Well, the story goes this way : Last time I have a JC friend. I spotted her reading a book one day and so I questioned her what book she is reading. Of course she replied : "Harry Potter !! Is it a very nice story, although is for kids( should be part one or two ah) but it is absolutely amusing,etc etc...." haha... That is not the end yet !! Due to my busy time, this book became just an image in my brain everytime. Meaning I have not touch any of the chapters yet. Oh no... "-_- However, I make up my mind to read up Harry Potter this time!! O.O Why? Because the story is interesting and I like to read loh(lolx) as mention in the beginning of this post. haha...In addition, this is the only story book that is so popular until the whole world is reading it. The author was a billionaire. Not million wor!! O.o

Name Card

At last I got my own name card from my company. haha... I have worked here for nearly 2 years. What a long time but not very long la.. =p haha.... I am so glad about it. A few of my colleagues started exchanging it like exchanging idols card =p since the day they collected. Not to mention that I am one of the participants for this "activity" too. oops... haha... We have quite a big stack of the cards. Suddenly, we were wondering if the cards can be distributed out finished one day?? omg... haha...Anyway, we can always keep it as a survivors or future usage. I can start exchanging it with the external government agencies like LTA, HDB, etc etc when there is a meeting. hehe... I personally like the design of the card very much as it is unique. Usually, most of the name card is facing horizontally whereas ours is vertical.

For those who are not in my so call "MECL" msn email chat list, let me know if you wish to mail chat wif me during office hours. I will released the xxxxxx for you... =p haha....

NDP 2007

This year NDP 2007 was excellent !!! First time NDP is celebrated at Marina, on a floating stage!! Must watch if you have the tickets on the actual day/rehearsal or at home!! hehe... I am so glad to watch the first rehearsal on last last saturday. Too bad the pictures I took in my digital camera is not with me now otherwise I can post some photographs here. In the meantime, I just grab one picture from my friend's blog first to make my post looks nicer. =p hahah...lolx...

INFOD Quality Day

Today is my company's Quality Day. All staff are invited to attend the function. I just came back from there sometimes ago. The function is not bad as Tea breaks is provided. =p haha.... We had sandwiches, chicken wings, bee hoon, oreo cakes, fruits tarts, fruit punch,etc etc.. Yummy Yummy.... By right, I planned to get some quick bites from the canteen before I go out later as I normally off work at around 7pm++ and the show starts at 8pm. Therefore right now, I can consider to have my "dinner" already. haha... Yesterday, my company also have a celebration for a newly launched tax portal. Again, there is catering. Although I did not went for the celebration but I still get to eat the food. haha..My officers da bao quite alot back. By right yesterday afternoon, I have to get some snack to eat from the canteen too as I need to go orchard during lunch time so I ate only bread during that hour inorder to have more travelling time. hahah....Good hor... This two days!!! =p hahha.... Oh ya... I forget to comment that today's food is nicer than yesterday's one. All my colleagues also told me that.
Okay.. Is about time to leave office soon le!! yeah yeah... hahaha....

Silly Meow aka francis aka dear

I just read my best frends, mimi aka miko's blog about her bf aka YX and this makes me feel like commenting my Silly Meow aka francis aka dear too... hahaha..... You all must be wondering how come I use so many "aka" here... haha.. That is because sometimes I will call miko as mimi, dear as meow... miko will call me as pei pei, Judy as ah di... dear will call me as meow too...etc etc... oops... haha... I do not know why we like to call each other some other names but one thing for sure is, we enjoy doing that.... hahaha ..=p
Sight.... Let's get to my main point.... Recently, I quarrelled with dear a lot too. He always irritated me when we chat at night and made me super angry. I understand that every couple will have quarrel but I hope this will not happen to me and dear everytime.

Leave & Ktv

By the way, I am on leave tomorrow to help my brother to do something in the morning. Evening time, I will be going to K-buffet with my colleagues, yi luan,yi xuan, susan, ex-co shihui,lee min, they all.... hehe.... Last week, I also went to k-box but is with shu qin and de qiang. Is very fun. We will have more singing lesson again. =D

Bus 21

This morning, I waited almost 25 minutes for Bus 21 to arrival. Damn it!! I could have reached my office long long ago. My house is very near IRAS. In less than just a 15 minutes of bus ride, my work place will be right in front of me.Waiting time is longer than travelling time! What the heck is this! #$^&*##@ Other buses like 857, 66, 64 and etc have appeared almost 3 times within this 25 minutes! At that moment, I felt like screaming real loud!! Many times I wanted to give up waiting for that freaking bus to show itself and just get a cab to work. However, I keep telling myself to be patient and determined not to spent the unnecessary anymore. Finally, my effort is pay off. The turtle bus came eventually and I board it. I felt so glad as if this is my first time taking a bus. omg! I am sure I will regret if I take cab to revenue house today. =p hahaha.... liew... All right, I wanted to say that I seldom take bus to work as most of the time is either by cab or dear's car. oops.... I know that is it damn sinful not to take bus especially when dear cannot fetch me. From today onwards, I am going to get rid of this sickening bad habit!! I must be not be late again! =p hahaha... Bus 21 !!! You better listen!! Don't be always so late hor!! Otherwise, I am going to write you a complain letter!!
Everytime after work, I also waited very long for this stupid bus to come! #$^&*##@ hahaha......Sight.. If only I own a car then how great would that be!! Hope I can have my own car in future!!! =)
Anyway, today is a good start because I can consider not late when I reach office in despite of this annoying bus incident. =D

Finally I have sometimes to write for my blog. Where should I start? haha...

Happy Mother's Day, Dear Birthday + Best sister & friend's Birthday!!

All alright, I will begin with last weekend. My family and I celebrated mother's day and dear's birthday at Thai Village restaurant in Kallang. The shark fin there was very expensive but the taste was excellent!=p haha... Must try if you haven been there. hehe... Beside that we ordered some dishes such as dong fen pan xie, fish, vegetables. What a great feast we have! haha.. All of us enjoy the food and that was Saturday. Coincidently, it is also my best sister and friend's birthday on that day. I here by wish her[Serena] a very Happy Birthday! May all her wishes come true! =>
On Sunday, I have another round of celebration but this time is with dear's family. =) Liling booked a table at the Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant and we all went there for dinner. This is a very special place as it is a revolving restaurant. I seems to feel a little bit of headache when I was there. hehe... However, the ambience was great! We are able to view Vivo City, PSA, Sentosa, etc while enjoying our food at the restaurant. ^.^ My comments for the food is "Liling's Gd Recommendation!" =p hehe..
After that, Dear drove me to coffee shop awhile ( Always go there!! =p ) and went to E-Ling's house. Baby Amabel has grown up! She has become more and more beautiful. Especially her eyes, big and bright. I love it a lot. hehe... She can even crawl around now. I still remember she was just a very small baby when she was borned some months ago.

Botak Jones & TMNT

Tuesday, I recommended my dear to Botak Jones at Toa Payoh North for our dinner. I ate once with my friends at clementi after a mahjong session. The food was dam nice and price dam good. hahaha....Must try if you have not! Actually, I knew that place long ago from the show "HDB Tai Tai". Zhong Qin and Chen Li Ping were the hosts. Dear and I ordered a Fish & Chip, Cajun Chicken Plate , Hoegaarden Beer and a Coke. The serving was a lot. We could not finish the fries. After all, we really enjoy it. =D

Next, we proceed to our usual hanging out place,Orchard Clineleisure, to watch "shi zhi wu gu, yi zhi liao shu. ta men heng xi huan chi Pizza" [TMNT] hahaha...... This is what my dear told me... so cute of him.. =p hahaha.... The show is fine and brings back our childhood memories. Even though it may be quite childish but it is absolutely enjoyable and watchable for all ages. In the past, I like to sing the TMNT song as," Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtles.... Give me back the hard shell... Turtles Turtles power..." omg.... hahaha.... I sing that infront of my dear and he said: " wow.... how come got turtle turtle power... " hahahha..... However, I find that the appearance of the turtle's master (that liao shu)quite funny in the movie. He did not look like what he used to be in the cartoon last time. Instead, he looks more like a hamster, cat or wolf than a rat as he is a bit too furry but is kind of adorable. hehe.... I would also like to make some comments on the turtles and that is they seems to have gone for a slimming program. oops.... Dear agreed with me too..=p hahaha.....

My New Born Cousin

Lots of Updates!!

Finally, I'm back to blog again.... hahaha....
Haiz... I did not do any blogging for so long as I was tied up for the past few months with my work. I noticed that this is my first posting for the year 2007. Hence, I would like to say: "Hello Year 2007! Please let me earn lots of $$$ this year! =D All the bad please GO! All the gooD pls come to mE!" hahaha......

CNY is so fast over. The atmosphere of the festival is getting lesser and lesser for each year. sianz.... It was no longer the same like last time. Now I understand why many said that CNY is meant for kids. haha.... Anyway, I am glad to see my cousins and relatives for bai nian. Ever since my grand mum left, we seldom met one another. =( Every year, we will play black jack. This year I won quite a lot..=p hehe... Not to forget Mahjong, I played that too.. hee..

After sometimes, I begin to feel nothing good about one girl who is the same age as me but looks older loh..=p I have never look down on her background or what so ever but her behaviour just makes me feel that she is SUX..... haha...

Here is my conclusion about her:

1)Show off : Ask me many of my personal stuff eg: salary, house price,etc... most of the things she finds it not expensive.
2)Thinks that she is very high class but she is just a Country Pumpkin
3)Act rich : no job still spent a lot anyhow, no sense of saving money, only knows how to spent her huddy's money
4)Lazy: never work since the day I know her until now, she thought she is a tai tai
5)Free Meals Free Lodging (bai chi bai zhu) : knows that her mum-law do not like something but still do
6)Fat: She is getting more and more fat, heard that she either stays at home or go out.
7)Never helps to do any household chores. I think she only wash her own clothes and maybe mop her own room once in a blue moon
8)Her room was very untidy.
9)Do not even know very simple English: She attended English course and I think is a wasted of money. Dunno she study for what.
10)Sleep like a Pig
11)Extremely fake: See human, talk human language. See bird, talk bird language. (jian ren shuo ren huo, jian gui shuo gui huo)
12)Having a stupid nick name: "She is huge, not little" I shall give her a better nick name call Pig, big fat pig, bai chi bai zhu, country pumpkin or bai chi zhu.....

She is simply such a horrid creature on earth. Isn't it? Bloody Hell ! hahahha....

Recently I started a new hobby which is playing mahjong. =p haha.....What a great game!! haha..... 3 of my friends and I shared buying one set of mahjong as none of us own any at home. I have never thought that I would engage to this game. All the while, I find it so complicated. There are so many rules you need to know. However, I managed to learn it from my lao gong during last last CNY. =p heee... Although I am still not very good at playing it but I just find it very fun and exciting. hehe..... I hope my mahjong skill will improved after more mahjong sessions. =p oops... hahaha....
*Calling up of zhi tong dao he de friends now!! What are you all waiting for? Let's have "dry swim" some days, okie?? hahaha......*

On Monday, I went to watch the show "300" with my lao gong at vivo city. This is our first time watching it at the biggest theater. We have always wanted to try that cinema but everytime, there is either no good movies or bad show time. Anyway, I do not think that "300" is a super nice show but after all I would rate it at 3 out of 5. =)

Wednesday after work, I went to meet Tim for dinner at a sushi restaurant. We order lots of sushi. yummy yummy.... hehe.... =D

Yesterday, Miko and I went to eat fish & company after work. We chat a lot and enjoy very much. We shall meet again soon... =D

Next week on the 20 & 21 March, I will be attending a 2days course at Hotel Phoenix. Sight... I was wondering if there would be a test after that. I hope no so that I can take a short break from work and enjoy some hoildays there. Heard that buffet lunch and tea breaks are provided. =p oops... hahah....

Last day of work for the year 2006 !!!

Time files unknowingly ... I did not realize that today is the last day of work for the year 2006 until I heard one guy saying that to his colleague this morning in the lift !!! A bit cannot imagine that 2006 is going to end soon !! A little don't bear to leave 2006 but looking forward to enter 2007 too !!! hehehe......

Yesterday during lunch, I went to Raffles hospital with my colleagues to visit my officer and her new born baby girl. The baby was very cute and looks very healthy. This is the second baby I met for this year! The hospital looks very comfortable and nice. I think maybe I can go there for labour in furture...=p oops... hahaha...... Last but not least, I would like to congras my officer, Eileen Tan and best wishes for her cute cute bebe, Niko!! =D

IRAS Dinner & Dance 2006

This coming Saturday is IRAS Dinner & Dance. I'm looking forward to this function but I have not decide what to wear on that day.. haiz.... I wanted to wear something simple and nice leh. Best would be a dress. *headache*

Yesterday I went to Super Cut at far east plaza to straighten my hair.... liew.. finally, got straight smooth hair... =p oops... hahah..... haiz.... I failed to have perm hair again... >.<" I just do not have the time to manage it. For the past 2 months, my hair is tire up for most of the time and it looks quite messy too... sad drop.. I guess I will never perm my hair again as I like to be neat. After my hair is done, Miko meet me for dinner at pastamamia. We have pizza & pasta. The food were very nice. Miko told me that she went for temporary perm at only $12 for her D & D last week. I feel that the price is reasonable. I think is better to do temp perm than the permanent perm.

Past few weeks, I have been going to KTV wif a few friends.... liew.. haha...... However, I enjoy a lot. It was very fun and i love singing....hahaha.....

Last but not least, I wanted to say..... oh my goodness.... I miss to write at least a day in Nov.... Aiya..... so sad.....My Archives would not have any Nov posting. >.<"

Oh ya.... Last month I went to Perth for about 5 days..... very fun there.... heee...Plus, I'm going to Genting to for this coming X'mas!!!! so happy!!!!! =p =D hehehehe............

Oh dear... My last posting was on the 5th Sept 2006 which means that I did not blog for almost a month! liew....

Okay.... first thing i wanted to say is :"It's so hazy recently!" hahah..... haiz... The haze seems to make me quite uncomfortable wor. >.<

New hair again....oops.... hahah.... =p

Last Saturday, I went to perm my hair with siew lee at one of the salon in Ang Mo Kio but she only did the egg-white treatment and hair-cut. Now her hair was very smooth and beautiful. Like her new hairstyle. =) I did a japanese perm, hair-cut and treatment as well. liew... perm my hair again ah!!!oops... hahaha.... haiz... still feel that straight hair was a bit boring so ya...oops.... Well, this time round I would rate my this new perm as 70% not bad ba...oops.. hahah... Definitely a lot better than the first time I permed during my 3rd yr in poly. However, I still prefer the perm I did 2 to 3 mths ago at Taiwan. It was very very nice wor but too bad, that salon was "too faR away"... haiz...haha.. I think I'll perm my hair again sometimes later if I got the chance to go Taiwan again ba. =p heee....

Annual BCM Conference

Yeah!! I'll be going to the 6th Annual Business Continuity Management Conference, to be held tomorrow,at the Meritus Mandarin Hotel ! This means that I don't have to work tml!!! so happy... oops..=p hahaha..... Heard there are breakfast, tea breaks and door gifts provided too wor... oops.. haha... Well, please don't mistaken that I'm going to some hoilday as after all this conference is something related to my BCP work(Avian Flu Plan)... sob... >.< However, I still hope there is nothing much to do after attending this session...heee.... =D

IRAS Day + My Lovely Sam Soon

Last Friday was IRAS 14th Birthday and there is one celebration in level 5 at the MPH. As not all the staff will be going to the ceremony, IRAS install one software call VCL that allows all the employees to view the live celebration in their desktop. I was one of them who on the VCL and watch it. The screen was very clear, just like a watching a TV show at home. oops... hahah... Well, this is my first time sitting back & relax to watch "TV" during work. haha...

My Lovely Sam Soon ^^ Jin Shan Shun

Recently, I have been watching this drama, "My Lovely Sam Soon " . The show is quite humorous and Jin Shan Shun is actually very gorgeous.. no no... is Jin Xi Zhen.... oops... haha..... Liling told me that Sam Soon was asked to put on weight for this show. No wonder I find her quite plump. hee... However, she slims down after that show. mmm.... I believed that she must be a great beauty now! ^^

I like the part when Jin-heon & Sam Soon were trying to fool each other. It is very sweet plus funny too. hehe... The feeling was like when you first started a relationship or say going to start soon.. haha..... [Jin-heon was very charming too.. hehe]

The song played after every episode ended was very very nice. Especially the music, it gives me a very comfortable and fairy tale feeling.... hahaha Unfortunately, the 10pm Sam Soon show in channel U does not played that song. Only the one in VCD or DVD would be able to hear it. liew...

*O* working is so sianz...liew.... Coming up soon, I would have to facilitate a Creativity Course for some IRAS staffs for IRAS Innovation Festival. faint* This festival held it once in a year and I'm just "lucky" to get invole wor..oops.. =p hahaha....

21st-August 2006, E-ling gave birth to her first child at Thomson Medical Centre. The hospital was very near IRAS wor. hehe... After work that day, I went to visit her & her baby girl. The baby was very cute and her name was called Amabel. How I wish I'll have such a cute cute baby next time too. oops.... =p hahhaha..... By the way, Congratulation to E-ling & her husband, Johnny !!! ^^

BCM course @ Spring S'pore

Last Thurday & Friday(24-25 Aug 2006), I attended a 2-day's Business Continuity Management Managers’ Course(BCM) at Spring in Bukit Merah Central. The trainner was quite funny as he will try to joke around when conducting the course. There were breakfast & tea breaks provided for that 2days wor. Good ah!! =p oops... hahah.... However, I will have to do one mini project after this in order to get a Certificate of Achievement from the BCM course. Faint* >.<

Yesterday was my birthday wor... oops.... seems like making announcement here! omg.... paisei ah...oops... hahah.. Anyway, I didn't really review to many people about my blog, so i think is ok ba. hee.... Till now i'm still wondering if I really will keep on blogging? hehe... Anyway, as I looked at my past posting, I realised I have wrote for many months already. woah.. feeling quite happy about it...oops.... hahaha... Since young I always wanna write dairy but everytime, I only write for a few days then discontinue. haiz... so right now really never expect myself to write so much so far. oops... hehe... Hope i can keep on writing here... ^^
Friday, went to marina square to watch fire works... woah.... It is very very beautiful wor!!!
Sat, went to zoo & night safari... hehe.... very funny.. most of the time saw many ah mengs in the zoo. While in the night safari, I saw mostly leopards... oops... lolx.... then saw one tiger very funny as it blur blur looking & blinking it's eyes at the visitors & visitors looking back at him..[is like i see u ... u see me...] omg... hahahah... very funny.... oops... hahah.....Well, I notice that all the animals there were quite lifeless. Mostly were either sleeping or sitting or eating their food... oops.... haha... errr.... saw crocodiles as well... used to be quite afraid of it as it is very very huge wor..oops....but after last sat visit to the zoo, I don't feel that scarcely le. Knw why? oops.... hahaha.... becos i saw one very big fat crocodile swimming slowly! oops... haha... It is very very cute leh... looks like a cartoon but is real one loh.. =p hahaha......
Sun, went to hv dinner & movies. Actually wanna watch Hard Candy but too bad, the show already started.Therefore watch See No Evil. liew.... It is a horror movie + thriller type! Not bad... very exciting... At first i tot it is a ghost show but it wasn't so very happy as i like thriller type...oops..hahah... Hopefully i can get to watch Hard Candy soon...=) heeee......

Makan Parade

As i was being nominated as a RC rep for this term, I was asked to go to my company's Makan Parade at level 5 to help up for a game stall earlier just now. One good thing is that the Makan helpers can dress down. hehe... Hence, I wore jeans today.. v*.*v hee... This makan parade was actually something like a national day celebration. It started from this morning 10am and ended at 3pm in the noon. Most of the time there, i was playing the game with the helpers when no one is playing. oops... It was a mini football game where you have to roll the sticks with many small plastic footballers to hit a ball to the opponent's goal net. Actually, i saw this game many times in the arcade but I have never play it before and never thought I'll play it until today.. hehe.. Well, the game was quite fun wor... hehe....
I just came back from there an hour ago.. liew... now really very no mood to continue working. oops... hahaha.... so happy that tomorrow is a hoilday and i can relax relax.... hahaha... =D However, right now is only 4pm++... still got another 2hrs ++ to go before i can off work... haiz.....=p hahaha...
Haiz.. Since this morning, i wasn't feeling very well already. My stomache was a bit pain on & off... feeling quite sleepy too... haiz.. liew...>.<
Last but not least, I want to wish Singapore a very Happy 41st National Day!! Guo Tai Ming An !!! ^^

Long Service Award

One of my officer, Sai Hoon, is going to get her 25yrs service award from iras... congratulation to her!! ^^ hehe... Just heard a few of my officers talking about this among themselves..In my team, most of my colleagues worked very long in iras...At least got 5 to 6 yrs.. I'm the newest meh.. not even 1yr yet but going to be 1yr soon le la... heee... wondering if i can work till that long (20/30++yrs)..... I don't mind to stay here till i retired as long as they give me good benefits & pay.... oops.... dreaming again....ZZzzzZZZZz..oops.... hahahah..... but i'm still trying to work hard here and hopefully i can get converted to perm staff soon.... heeee.....

Hi hi everyone... I'm back from Taiwan on the 18th July 2006 ! heee.... It was very fun there wor. How I wish I'm in taipei now.(dreaming* & still in hoilday mood ah... oops.. haha)=D Well, all the photos I took during the tour using my hp cam were not transfered to my com yet as I haven't got the time to do so. Beside having fun for this hoilday, I went to perm my hair again! oops.. oops.... The Taiwan hair stylist was quite shuai... ooops... hahaha.... Actually, I never intend to perm my hair again as my previous permed experience wasn't that pleasing. It made my hair very dryed & difficult to maintain. liew... However, my aunt wanna perm so I join her ba...heee.. Well, this time rd, my hair is not very curl as compaired to last time de & is not as dry as before too. Not bad la..oops... but like not very lasting leh. Now getting lesser curl. liew.... hahaha....

Lai Khim nominated me to attend 2 courses in August. They are "creativity course for facilitators" & "Business Continuity Management Course(BCM)". Both of them each last for 2 days only. Not very long but I think the BCM would have to complete some assignments in order to get a cert. ^^ Sounds a bit not bad hor. Still got cert de (oops..haha) but I knw the cert definitely not those..... errr... hehehe....Btw, sianz leh... need to do assignments. Is like studying meh. >.<

Every week, my colleagues will order many different kinds of fruits in boxes and share buying among one another. In this way, we not only get to eat many different kinds of fruits but it was pretty budgeted to purchase it like this as well. Last Thursday, my officer, Sai Hoon, asked me to accompany her to go and collect the fruits as the order was quite a lot. My main officer, Lisa, used to go with her but that day did not as Lisa's daughter was ill. Therefore, she has to apply half day morning urgent leave to bring her daughter to the clinic. To my surprise, there were quite a few people from other departments too at the fruit collection place which is at level one near to a car waiting area. I still thought my office was the only one buying fruits. oops.. heee.... Everyone there seems like representing their departments to buy fruits and the atmosphere looks like a mini market but it is an office one... hehe... Buyers all wear formal clothings & pushing one small trollies which is actually more for carrying boxes of papers, files, etc ba... Unlike those real markets where all the aunties wear normal home clothings. The trollies they brought along were those like small basket one with wheels. hehe.. Well, I felt very interesting to see such an "office" market. heee.... Today I bought 1 Vietnam Red Dragon Fruits and 2 USA Donut Peaches. I have never eaten those peaches before but last week tried one and found it very sweet. Hence, I ordered 2 this morning.... hee... However, I used to buy other fruits too such as apples, grapes, pears, etc but tomorrow I'm going to Taiwan le [Yeah ~ heee....]so can't buy too many.

Taiwan

Yeah... I'm going to Taiwan with my family this friday noon time. heee.... I felt quite excited as I have never being to Taiwan before. hee... Hope I can buy many unique stuff there..oops.... mmm.... Wondering if I can get to see Chou Jie Lun or Cai Yi Ling there. oops.... hahhaha... Well, I have not pack my luggage yet. liew... I must do it by today.

Cute Doggies

While I was waiting for the lift at my house void deck last week, a couple with about 5 or 6 lovely dogs were there too. So many hor.... oops... hehe... When the lift arrived, the lady dogs' owner say:" All go in." Therefore, all the dogs went in. Next, that lady uttered again:" All sit !" Immediately, the dogs quickly sit down together inside the lift. lolx.... so cute & funny loh...oops... the doggies were like small kids & so obedient.. Love them loh...oops... hahahah.... =D Well, I feel that all those doggies were very fortunate too as they have so many accompanies unlike most of the owners whom will normally keep one or two dogs at home.

The meeting with the NETS & DBS on 7th July 06

On Wednesday, my main officer, Lisa, came to my work station at ard 2pm and ask me to go for a meeting with the NETS to discuss some external value network issue. I quickly brought my company pass, a notebook & a pen to the meeting with her at 12th floor in a meeting room called, "Raffles".... hehehe... There were many meeting room in IRAS and all of them has got their own name. I remembered some of the names were a bit funny..oops... one called as "Mini" ,"Maxi", etc..... hehe... mmm... ok la.. the names..heee... Well, let's talk more about that meeting. hee... Lisa and I arrived the earliest in the meeting room. However, the NETS & DBS representatives arrived very soon after we were there. About 8 to 10 reps entered the room and started to exchange their name cards with one another. Due to my job is on a contract basics, I don't have a business card. >.< .... Hence, I only collect the cards from them. One of the reps still ask me if i got a card too and I just replied no. -_- omg..... so funny... First time attend such a meeting like this. oops... hahaha..... After the meeting, I went back to my work station and looked at those name cards. I noticed that those reps' designation were quite high level. They were mainly managers, vice presidents, consultant,etc....liew.. Luckily I didn't have a card else ..... oops.... hahaha.... haiz... Wondering if i'll get a name card if i got the chance to get converted to perm staff in my company one day.... mmm.....

At about 3pm++ on the 6th July 06, I remembered I was quite sleepy and almost fell asleep while doing work at office. ZZZzzzz... oops... heee.... Then I received a mail from my director & I suddenly felt awake.. oops... hahaha..... The mail was abt my contract & appointing me as the RC rep and BCP rep. liew.... Campus Ghost Stories

Last Saturday night, Liling & I went to watch Campus Ghost Stories at Cineleisure. I felt a bit like saying Campus Super Star. oops...hahaha... Guess i must have watched too much of that contest last time. oops.. heee... Now you must be wondering whether I'm going to talk about super star or ghost stories ba. omg... haha... Well, of course is the movies la. hehe...Have you begin to shiver as is horror de wor. oops...haha.. By the way, please do not be alarmed. This film is supposed to be quite a serious type of eerie, scary, ghost story. However, it ended up like a "humorous show" ''-_-

Firstly is about a girl riding a bicycle on her way home. Then one ghost appeared and the wheel chain of the girl's bicycle broke off. However, she still try to cycle very hard even though the bicycle is not moving at all. Hence, the audiences all laugh including myself & liling. liew... Funny hor.. That scenario is like a joke but is not de leh. err.. hahaha....Suddenly, the bicycle's wheel chain went working fine so that girl speeds up all the way to get away from the ghost. This time, the chain from the bicycle's hand brakes broke off. Many people automatically laugh again. oops.. haha.. Therefore, that girl could not stop her bicycle and fell off to a sharp object. Blood quickly rushed out from the victim's mouth. At this moment, one spectator shouted loudly: "Ribina !" ''-_- seems like trying to make the atmosphere even more funny ar. Well, everyone watching that show just keep laughing on & off. liew... hahaha....

Another quite funny scene is about a haunted condominium where all units with numbers ending in "5" seems would kill one person in the family staying there. Starting is the first floor, one of the family members died due to fall sick. Follow up next is the 2nd floor one, the wife hanged herself and died. Next 3rd floor is an old man committed suicide. Coming up 4th floor is one person cooking at a kitchen & got burned to death. hahaha.... I'm not an evil girl!! oops... people die how can laugh right? but jus dunno why. Everyone in the cinema just laugh out for that part..oops.. hahaha.... Somehow this scary movie became a humorous show indirectly. I'm quite sure that this film dun intend to create such funny effect ba..heee.. Admin Tools

Yesterday morning, my director asked me if I really do not want to do codings anymore. She planned to get 2 members from my team to maintain & enhance the Admin Tools system. One of them would be the main in-charge while the other would be the back up. In case if one is on leave or MC, the other can cover the job. It is a very small application which is used by some of my teammates to deal with codes table stuffs. My officer, Evelyn, is nominated to be the main person to take up this task and would have to go for a 5 days C Sharp training course. liew.... That's came to my confusion. I do not really like or know much about C# programming. Although this system has got onli a few UI and seems to be easy to handle but I still do not have the confident to fulfill it. Well, my officer, Hayley, is supposed to be the back up of this challenge. However, she was too tied up with her current work. Hence, I was asked if I could take over that. Oh...... how? codings wor...oops.... not sure if I wanna accept the task or not leh. If dun, I guessed maybe IRAS will not continue my contact & do not even think of perm staff conversion. I ever tried to hinted my officer if my stay in IRAS would be affected or not if I dun wan the task..oops.. The replied was like not very sure but dun think it will causes any influence to my contact. All right, let's talk about my answer to my director's question. Initially, I did not know anything of the planned so I say something like: dun think so ba.. etc.. As a result, my director leaves the decision to my team to decide who to do it. Anyway, my officers will let me know more information of the system & see how it goes ba....mmmmm....... liew... hahaha...

On the 14th April 2006 which is a Good Friday hoilday, Serena and I went to Bugis for "bai bai" and shopping. Actually, I cannot remember the date as it was like quite long ago from now but luckily that day was a hoilday and that was how i retrieved the exact date. haha... At Bugis, each of us managed to buy one wallet from The Wallet Shop for ourselves. The wallet is not only beautiful but budgeted too. So glad about it. heee.. Beside that, we went to take neo print as well. We always planned to take photos together whenever we have outings but ended up we always forgotten. liew... Finally, that day we took. Yeah... heee...
Both of us do not have a scanner at home to scan our pictures. I used to have one but think spoilt le. =( Hence, Serena asked her frenz, wenyong, to help us with it as he has got a scanner. However, he only finished the scanning a few days ago. Guessed that he must be very busy ba.. hehe.. Thanks to him by the way. Last but not least, I wanted to thank Serena too for editing the photos to become brighter & combining the pics together with Words: Yea... We r best sis & frenz!! =D Hope we can be Forever Frenzs(not the bear bear ah i mean.. oops.. jus kidding...hahaha)

My Contract

Looks like my 1yr contract with IRAS is ending soon in abt 3 mths++ times. Time flew unknowingly.... mmm... still dunno if my contract will get to renew or not or even get to convert to perm staff. oops.. arr.. maybe don't dream of joining the company permanently first ba... haha.. According to some of my officers, they told me IRAS usually will not convert their employees to perm in such a short duration. Most of the time, one would have to completed for about 2 or 3yrs contract job & performances wise must be above average then they might convert de wor. However, there were some cases that staffs being converted to perm after they finished for abt 1yr plus of contract. Guessed their work must be excellent ba. mmm.... That's very fast hor. At least got some encouragement from that.. haha.. well, let's see how ba. I think IRAS will let me know the outcome of my contract shortly. Prayed that I'll receive good news. heee...haha..=)

For me, I wanted to sleep more as sat & sun were my only mornings that i could sleep. The rest of the day got to wake up early to work meh... liew.... heee.... Therefore, I went to the polling station which is just 2 blocks away from my blk in the afternoon. To my surprise, it was quite empty there. Only 2 or 3 voters were around but there were many officer-in-charge there. Strange... oops..cos I tot many people would go voting in the afternoon ba. =p heee..... Well, is good that i dun have to queue. hehe.... As for who to vote? I really can't decide wor.The day before voting, nen said that i must be kidding cos very soon i'll need to vote le. '-_- hahaha.....
I feel that both the PAP and oppositions have their own good reason for residents to support them. However still have to choose one. hehe... Anyway, PAP won my place there...hehe... Hope they can manage my hometown well. =)
Yesterday, evelyn came to my work station to do some checking on the production codes table. In the mean time, she shared some of her experiences as a polling officer to me & some of my colleagues.... lolx.... She met 2 funny voters. oops... One middle age lady asked her in quite a rude manner: "why? why? why u read out my name & serial no.? Why count? why why?" errr.... haha.....Well, that lady's name is not the only one who is being read out. In fact,everyone's name is read out as a procedure ba....liew.. hehe.... The other one is a woman too. She said to evelyn in a weird weird tones,"ni.... geng wo jiang ying wen... you sen mo yong.... wo duo bu hui ting..." liew... haha.... mmm..... dunno if i'll get to be a polling officer in future or not & meet some funny voters too... oops... hehe...

woah... looks like I have neglected this blog...Have not been writing here since quite long ago le wor. oops...hee.. Well, let me do some updates now... hee...
Last friday after lunch, I felt my forehead very warm & my throat became very painful suddenly. Can't even say a "hello" as it hurts very badly for the moment I say something. Then also having quite serious headache... =( I tried to bear with it till off work but just can't do it as I couldn't concentrate on any of my task. Therefore, I went to seek for permission from my officer in-charge to go see a doctor & take a half day MC.
Yesterday my company change new office phone. This phone was jus like hp... haha.. It can sent mgs, got caller ID, customised ring tones & voice mail greeting, able to search company staff extension number via names & many many more function which i haven explored it.hehe... Actually, training is provided before the new phone arrived de. However, I have no time to attend the training as my work load has increased recently.. liew..... haha..

IO Br meeting + Breakfast Treat on Mon 24th Apr

This morning very funny. hee... I received an email last week saying that this morning got a branch meeting & the pretty directory who looks a bit like wang bi ren will be giving us a breakfast treat as part of celebration for IIT efiling-(but don't think that i'm involved a lot ba...oops.. hee....) then sianz.. I was late for work this morning... haiz.. but i reached before the meeting time 9am and the food was already on my desk... yummy...oops... properly my officer help me take ba.. hee... I also heard some of my officers' voices from one of the office corner. They were like eating & chatting away but is going to be 9am soon le but how come like no one is going for the meeting? While waiting to go for the meeting with them, i quickly eat my nasi lemak + otah... hee... Soon everyone finished their food and went back to work. Funny... Is today's meeting about the food only? oops oops... heee..... *The above incident actually happened on yesterday 24th April not 25th April. Due to some uploading issue. Hi hi..... Welcome to my blog! hehe... first time writing here.... wondering it is fun as these days so many of my friends started blogging. Additionally, my company does not allow their staffs to access many web site such as msn chat,games, friendster, hotmail/yahoo mail, etc.... *faint* haha... Is not that i wanna eat snake ah.. =p Is just that sometimes in office can be quite boring. If only I can access to those web site while working, then how gd would that be.... hee.... Luckily, blogspot is not prohibited else more sianz rite..... oops..... lolx..... mmm..... not very familiar with the blog features so currently my blog skin a bit ugly. >.< However, I'll slowly upgrade it.
